4 Reasons why your Internet PTCL speed is slow - Pakistan broadband Broadband DSL

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) is the largest service of telephony in Pakistan. Even after the arrival of other telecommunications companies such as Telenor, Zong, Warid, Ufone, Mobilink etc., PTCL still holds the status of the backbone of the Pakistan telecommunications infrastructure. Pakistan broadband is a DSL by PTCL internet service that is used by millions of subscribers. There are a few other DSL providers also internet in the country, but many people still prefer the PTCL services. However, PTCL internet services in many areas are not loving it as internet speed is too low even you are on the connection of 4 or 8 MB. These are the reasons.

PTCL Package CommitmentIts your fault step indeed, commit PTCL unlimited downloads with speed as mentioned in your package however as PTCL gives a shared internet line (shared IP address) whenever when you are connected to the internet, so there may be a large number of people using IP, causing one slow speed for others, on the same IP. You cannot get rid of this thing until you get a dedicated static IP address.

You can have shared InternetWell, its a reason to slow speed. Imagine the internet connection of 4 MB is used on 4 different computers, each computer will have less speed of 1 MB causing a super download slow, video streaming and navigation. To have good speed, must have a distinct and non-shared internet line.

TypePeople connection PTCL related to the field of computer know that optical fiber cable is the best medium for high speed internet. PTCL have fibre optic cabling in regions however most PTCL Exchange still use copper wire providing the PTCL telephone connection. Copper wire is not a support designed to transport large numbers of data simultaneously, so it causes slow speed while carrying data. You should ask to store your region if you are on a fibre optics connection or the connection of copper wire.
Unavailability of the desired package from ExchangeWell, this is a new reason that I came to know why the internet speed is so slow. A few days ago, I ordered a package of Pakistan of 8 MB broadband, I got the connection within 15 days, but I feel speed is not the internet 8 MB connection. I called PTCL support line and asked whats wrong with my Internet speed, they told me it is not something wrong on their side in their records, I am on the 8 MB connection and good speed. I, then called the Manager DSL of Exchange, he told me that they gave me 2 MB connection because the port of 8 MB connection was not available, however they will change my connection to the port of 8 MB as soon as possible. After 3-4 days, I've moved to a 8 MB connection. You should ask your manager exchange DSL if you are on the correct port for the actual speed, as described in your package. Filed in: Pakistan
